Fascination
Those pioneering dance-punk boys from Omaha, Nebraska are back. On August 5 they are releasing their fifth studio album titled Fascination on their own record label, blank.wav. A track from the new album has been made available and we have it. I can ensure you that it doesn’t disappoint, it’s classic Faint, albeit progressing a little. Their recognisable synth hooks drive the new track and much like their older material it’s best played on the dance floor.
Fascination comes after a four year break, which had many fans wondering if they’d ever hear from them again. To compliment the new album, The Faint are heading out on an extensive world tour, dates in the USA, Canada, UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Australia have all been confirmed. They haven’t yet confirmed any New Zealand dates, but let’s keep our fingers crossed.
