When I wrote about this curiously-named Kansas, USA band earlier this year on Einstein their songs were met with unanimous acclaim. Recently, Drew from Baby Birds Don’t Drink Milk contacted me to say thanks and to spread the word about their latest recording, done live in a friend’s Chicago living room where they played on June 16. You can download the entire almost 20 minute set from the link below. It’s a sonic excursion into noise-straddled indie yelping, experimental soundscapes with barely any splice of percussion. It’s the most extravagant and indulgent I’ve heard the band yet, but also reeks of restrained chaos. It’s really something else, check it out!
