3 Way Split

In a rumble of drum and bass, Graffiti Island explode out of the darkness. With charisma to burn and haunting mythical lyrics, the London three-piece band have been gaining popularity through live blog reviews. Having played shows with Ponytail, Gentle Friendly and local London icons PEN, the band has been aptly mentioned for front man Pete Dee’s epic crowd wandering and admiration of his fan’s.

Built on a live reputation without any recorded material released (although a 7″ is due out very soon, as well as a three way split cassette with PEN and Male Bonding), the band has only a scattering of songs floating about. Minimalist instrumentation built around bass and drums make up the core of those songs, overlaid with hyper child vocals written by a man with a psychedelic imagination, Graffiti Island provide a heart warming pop experience.
