Human Crack In Tha Flesh

There’s young kids all over America laying down hip hop that we just don’t know about. One day soon they may be discovered, but for a lot of them they will remain just another kid from the block. I came across Rayzaflo recently when searching through myspace, like most people her age, her page displays pictures of her friends, hot celebrities and in her top friends is M.I.A. She’s also friends with one of my favourite rappers Rye Rye, who’s style is some-what similar to her own.

At age sixteen, Rayzaflo’s talent and maturity is the foundation for her music. She declares to members of her fan club, “My goal is to be different, my music is like no other. My influences are the music artists who strive to be different and really just do not care what others think.” Her songs tackle social issues as well as the happy side of life, from the party scene to the ghetto. Drawing parallels and inspiration from Salt-N-Pepa to L’Trimm, Rayzaflo is from an elite group of young artists inspired by and inspiring to be famous. For now she remains unsigned, but if Rye Rye is an example of where young talent can take you, Rayzaflo has footsteps to follow.
