Lost In The Supermarket

Justin Pearson (The Locust, Holy Molar), Nathan Joyner (Some Girls) and Tin Cagayat (Ambidextrous) have joined forces in a new band called All Leather. The band is very new; so new in fact, they only started a myspace page two weeks ago. It’s on that page that you can hear three demo tracks. Sounding like a cross between DAT Politics and the new Mint Chicks material, All Leather pour fuzz over everything, layering midi synths with scattered drums, spastic guitar and Pearson’s Hawnay Troof like vocals. It’s probably Justin Pearson’s least Locust sounding side-project (there’s been about twenty of them), so if you haven’t liked some of the others you may well dig this. While there’s little much more to say about this band, I recommend you check the demos available on the band’s myspace page.
