Sharpie Crows- Greed
8/10
“There’s a famous John Peel quote about The Fall which goes “Always different, always the same” and perhaps it’s an appropriate quote to describe Sharpie Crows; because while the guitaring and keyboard playing continues to expand, becoming more experimental, the drum and bass rhythms provide a swell undercurrent that holds the band together…” – Nick

Bright Lights – Warm It Up (EP)
6/10
“They’re taking influence from the recent uber synth craze that’s hitting the world, and while it’s commendable to see a young band channeling the future rather than peering into their parents’ record collections (shore bands, anyone?), they don’t always quite pull off what they intend to.” – Sarah

SORRY JOE, I didn’t know Nevernudes were a shore band! P.S. Why’d the band change its name? P.P.S. I agree, you guys should play a show before March 28th!

Not just Shore, we’re three quarters Devonport!!
We changed because Honey’s Dead is a JAMC album and is way too popular to get away with using, we thought it would eventually just cause confusion.
Yeah, know any shows that need a band? Maybe I’ll poison someone’s singer…
