Funny Ha Ha

Christian Rudder and Justin Rice, who comprise Brooklyn indie band Bishop Allen have both appeared in their ex-roomate (and celebrated indie filmmaker) Andrew Bujalski’s films Funny Ha Ha and Mutual Appreciation respectively. Now the duo has a new album called Grr… on March 10 on Dead Oceans. The song are slightly more polished than their previous work, sounding in the vein of Noah And The Whale, and they’ve really improved their production and vocals for their third album. I remember loving their old songs Things Are What You Make Of Them, Flight 180 and Butterfly Nets, that featured on Bujalski’s films. If you like your indie music offbeat and cute like you like your indie film, then I suggest checking out Bishop Allen’s two new offerings below, they’ll make your feet bounce!
