Chaotic, Idiotic, Sexy, NOT!

Blending the likes of Chicks On Speed with The B52’s and Of Montreal, Creature bring together some of the finest pop influences and channel them into their own infectious new-wave dance punk. Formed in 2004, the Canadian band juggled line-ups for a number of years, discarding and gaining four members on their way to releasing their début album No Sleep At All on March 10, 2008.

Much like The B52’s, all four members add vocals to the music, creating a back and forwards conversational style dialogue that is the centre-piece to many of their fun loving songs. Rolling with the party vibe is a heavy dance beat, with wild electronics adding a sense of chaos and debauchery. 21st century hipsters on some sort of 70’s dance-punk revival or those looking for an alternative to uber simple dance boppers The Ting Tings should embrace Creature. They definitely have the ability to take on more of a mainstream pop audience, which seems to be what the popular clubs are looking for.
