The wonderfully heavy and ethereal HEALTH is back with a new 7″ boasting two new songs, the single Die Slow on Side A and the same song remixed by PicturePlane in an ace tropical club kind of way on Side B. Die Slow is an instantly catchy, alarming synth work out, juttering and jittering into outer space. It rides a rainbow the same colour scheme as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new stuff, but less irritating – think more soft vocals and more abrassive guitar. It’s exactly what you’d want them to follow up their epic previous material with, and a brilliant branch off from other, more annoying and overplayed new wave synth bands we’ve been hearing of late.
