Tonight At Whammy
A Dead Forest Index is Adam and Sam Sherry from Melbourne. Creating beautiful, haunting, ethereal music that brings to mind ancient story telling and gypsy folklore, the band employs a simple guitar and drums set up but with occasional added instruments and swathed in plenty of reverb, creating a very memorable listen.
EMJ is really excited to present their first ever show in New Zealand with support from Sora Shima (Hamilton) and Bond Street Bridge, tonight at Whammy Bar in Auckland. ADFI’s music has been growing on us more and more, I have been listening to their EP Empty and Dark I Shall Raise My Lantern on repeat, it’s one of those ones that reveals its intricate layers more with each listen.
