TV On The Radio and Hot Chip remix Gang Gang Dance
Here’s a hard task – remix one of the greatest, most experimental and influential avante-garde bands in the world. TV On The Radio gave it a go to less than impressive results, but Hot Chip took quite an interesting approach which resulted in a hugely drawn out pyschedelic segue – if you can get through the whole thing – it ends up to be pretty captivating. Surprisingly, as with their original work they’re easily my favourite of the two remixers, TVOTR’s remix falls short in my opinion for going too light and culling all the badass boombasticness out of what is one of my favourite songs of ‘09.
