Dinosauruxia: New Single

Floating Naked Through Space
Our favourite Finnish girls, the loverly Emilia Lagk and Sanna Lehto, are about to release a brand new single titled ‘Safe’. It is being officially released tonight at a party in Helsinki, and will be available for purchase from tomorrow.
In the past year we’ve become accustomed to Dinosauruxia’s music as a wild, untamed mix of spastic electronia, crushing synth beats and erotically perforating vocal melodies. They released a split 7″ via Envex Records in January with two beautifully chilling tracks, ‘Sky (Time Is Unfolding)’ and ‘Ecstasy Braincells’, which rounded off their early work and cemented themselves with a solid fan base. ‘Safe’ is the perfect follow-up, pulling apart their early material and laying it bare, somewhat undressing the intense outer layer and leaving behind a tender, sexy exoskeleton. Emilia chants softly and Sanna adds swishing synths before a gentle beat is dropped and the song opens up to reveal a swirling dream-like melody. It’s wise and beautifully crafted, with touches of disco and subtle nods of Bjork.
The full five minute version of ‘Safe’ can be heard on the band’s myspace page, along with a shorter radio edit and a sweet sweet remix by MISF^TS. A digital version of the song will be available through MISF^TSOUNDS tomorrow and it will be followed by a version on 7″ vinyl (available in a few weeks time) that can be purchased either from MISF^TSOUNDS or directly from the band.
The band’s split 7″ with Moron Says What can be purchased the same way, by messaging either band via myspace.
