Einstein Music Journal (EMJ) is a New Zealand-based music blog started by Nick Fulton in 2006. The website was originally named Einstein, disguised as Robin Hood after a line from Bob Dylan’s ‘Desolation Row’. In 2007 Sarah Gooding joined EMJ and the pair now co-own the website.
Einstein Music Journal is now New Zealand’s foremost MP3 blog, with readers from all over the world. Writing from EMJ has been quoted in Rolling Stone, New York magazine and Artrocker.com and the pair has appeared on numerous radio programmes including Breakthru Radio in New York City.
Nick and Sarah’s work has also been published in NO.Magazine, Real Groove, REMIX, New Zealand Herald, CMJ, Girlfriend, Groove Guide, Tally Ho! and Subject.
Sarah has worked as an editor for New Zealand Fashion Week and Nick has worked in the noise department at Wellington City Council.
EMJ would like to sincerely thank Ben Thompson for designing this website.
