Bang! Bang! Eche! tour blog- Update 4

Wed 10 Jun 2009

Photos from Australia: Dicks, Sluts and Hoochie Mamas

This was part of the tour poster James and T’Nealle made for Australia.

Yesterday we played a show at Oxford Art Factory. That dude you can see is the singer/guitarist for Philadelphia Grand Jury! They are a indie-pop kind of band who prerecorded all of their banter and were SUPER KEEN.

We got on a ferris wheel at Luna Park after the Come Together Festival and Charlie got his dick out and we were all trapped on the ferris wheel and it was kind of horrible. I hate ferris wheels.

Later on we met some PYT and she disappeared with Charlie for a while then they peer pressured Zach into going on rides with them (peer pressure)

This is a big bottle of Frosty Jack’s cider. It cost 3 pounds or something. This is also what James and T’Nealle did for an afternoon.

After our show at Proud we were sitting “backstage” and these two showed up. We thought they wanted money so T’Nealle took a photo of them and they went away.

This is James somewhere. What a stupid dickface.

Have no idea where this came from but man I laughed.

We played a show for the Fans club night in Brisbane at Alhambra Lounge opening for these guys. They are The Protectors and they play dirty cock-rock better than anyone else. They all were really pretty and the singer wore eye shadow and I think I have a crush on all of them.

T’Nealle made this banner at Alhambra.

Man, there were some hot chicks at the show.

That chick has really nice eyes.

Seriously, girls see a DSLR and they’re all “OMG I AM TOTALLY GONNA GET ON LASTNIGHTSPARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

This chick was all, “Look at MY pick! The Protectors GAVE it to me!”
What a smug bitch.

This is the lead singer of the Protectors <3

The Bride of Frankenstein was actually a total babe who made kissy faces to us when we were taxiing home.

This is a drama teacher who was ALL ABOUT THE PARTY except she promised me a party but never came through.

 FUCK YOU, I’M T’NEALLE.

Taxi drivers are scum – we’ll never give up our trolley.

Bang! Bang! Eche! tour blog- Update 3

Wed 27 May 2009

Photos from London and Milan (Italy)

 Bang

This is the sign they made especially for us at Plastic in Milan. <3 those kids.

 Batrider

WE PLAYED WITH BATRIDER, OMG THEY ARE SO GREAT!

 Brick Lane Hipster

Far out there are heaps of trashy hipsters hanging out in Brick Lane. That place is good for burgers, crepes, getting robbed and maybe picking up a bear or two for that amyl-nitrate party that T’Nealle told us about.

 Dick

This is more UK graffiti. I don’t care if you don’t like it.

 Milan Alleyway

I think this is the back of Plastic in Milan. This looks trashy but I assure you this club was all class: Models out front fanning themselves with 20Euro bills, guys fucking each other in the bathrooms, girls grinding on each other against the bar of the VIP area, MGMT, Britney and all the drinks were12 Euro.

 Some NZ Chick

This girl saw us play at the Dux in Chur Chur! BUZZY AS, BRO!

 Our Italian Homeboyz

Paolo and Niccolo hung out with us for dinner and before we played. They weren’t our only Italian friends, however. Dorian was the dude who got us the gig (THX). You can see him DJing in the photo of the interior of the club. Paolo is in a kind of evil-ish band called Dance For Burgess who play Horrors-y guitar-based music with English vocals. Pretty rad.

 Plastic

This photo is pretty shitty but our camera bitch was crunk as and all of the other photos were blurry or of some young Italian dude with a boner who was so keen you could see the wet spot on his jeans. Oh yeah, this is a view of the DJ booth in Plastic. The stage is to the left of the photo and the photo is taken from the height of the stage.

 Some Band Love

This is Zach and James making out.

Bang! Bang! Eche! tour blog- Update 2

Wed 20 May 2009

Photos from London and The Great Escape Festival in Brighton

BBE LIVE at HORATIOS

We played at the NZ Music Showcase with Die! Die! Die!, Connan Mockasin and The Veils.

 Creepy Chaz

Choccy Woocy Doodah is a little chocolaterie down the street from where we are staying. They made all of the chocolates for the latest Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie and Charlie made all of the girls working there throw their cellphone numbers at him.

DDD

Die! Die! Die! played one of the best shows we’ve ever seen at Horatios! Everyone went crazy, there was a qrazee mosh pit and at the end the bassist put his hand through the ceiling.

 Kap Bam

This chick got brutal, kept running into the crowd and making out with dudes. Didn’t play the hits – made Charlie sad.

 Nose

 ??????????????????

Pretty Brighton Streets

Brighton is full of cute little alleyways like this. I guess they’d look a bit rape friendly at night but during the day they are really nice.

 Tate

This was a crazy exhibition by Paul McCarthy which basically consisted of him playing with his dick in many different scenarios. The Tate was cool but Zach was keen to go see some paintings of Jesus.

 The UK

We haven’t seen much “WESTSYDE 4 LYF” graffiti in the UK yet, just Banksy and “RAPISTS STALKERS RAPISTS STALKERS CREEPS NAZI SCUM.”

 Veils

The Veils played mostly old material at their Horatio’s gig. James made their bass player giggle and he says, “It sent my heart a-flutter.”

 Vivian Girls

I fucking love the Vivian Girls – Zach.

Viv + Tinnie

 Skeet skeet motherfucker
